Cheese Class
April 18th at 6:00 PM
MPL Community Room

Want to jazz up your cheese plate with something other than the same old colby-jack and cheddar? 
Join Leslie Jacobsen & Nancy Mayfield for an introduction to six interesting cheeses that can be found at stores where you may already shop. We'll discuss the type of milks used, where and how the cheeses are made, and let you experiment with suggested pairings, or create your own! 
Class size will be limited, so get registered by Saturday, April 13th at the library or by phone. 
There is no cost for this class. It is intended for adult patrons.
Friends of the Library Book Sale
Saturday, April 20th - Saturday, April 27th

The FOL Book Sale is back and there are TONS of great new titles for you to browse. Stop by any time while the library is open to check out what's available and support the library.
Crochet Chat
Thursday, April 11th and 25th from 6 - 7: 30 PM
Maquoketa Brewing

Join Katie at Maquoketa Brewing on 6 to 7:30. Bring your current knit/crochet work in progress and chat with other crafters.

Crochet Chat with Kim Carr at MAE is back. Hang out there from 1 PM to 2:30 PM on the first and third Thursdays of the month. April dates will be 4/4 and 4/18.

Button Making
Wednesday, April 10th @ 2 PM

Join Katie for button making in the Children's Library from 2 to 3 PM! There will be a variety of images to choose from or design your own.

Highlights

New Play Table
Check out the brand new addition to the Children's Department thanks to our Friends of the Library group! This touch play table features lots of games for the little ones including balloon pop, air hockey, coloring and more. Stop by with your little ones and give it a try. Thank you to the Friends of the Library for this awesome gift!
Seed Library
The seed library is open for business! If you're interested in picking up or donating seeds, visit any time during our operating hours.
