Adult/YA Summer Reading 2022

Read Beyond the Beaten Path with MPL this summer! 6th graders through adults can sign up at the library starting June 1st. You'll get a map of National Parks with reading theme suggestions and a reading log. Adults, get a prize entry for every book you read. Young adults, choose your method. You can get a prize entry for every book you read or, if you like to read longer books, get a prize entry for every 150 pages. And as a bonus, you'll get a checklist of various activities you can do to get extra entries. Check out images of the materials below and some of the prizes that will be available. Prize entries can be turned in through July 31st.

National Park Reading Challenge

One one side of your log, you'll find blanks for whatever books you choose to read. If you're up for a challenge, you'll also get the map below and you can choose a National Park and read a book to fit the theme. For example, number 1 is Acadia National Park. To fulfill this one, read a book set in Maine (because that's where it's located).
